VETERINARIAN: Veterinary Emergency + Critical Care

Best Pet Insurance Available

I signed up in 2011 with Healthy Paws for a new pup I got from a rescue. My beloved schnauzer fell seriously ill in Dec 2023, and was hospitalized for over 3 weeks in the vet ICU. The bill was a staggering $22k, and Healthy Paws covered most of it. They are compassionate and fast, and while I lost my dog on Christmas Day, I was able to give him the best care because I had Healthy Paws working with me. Five stars all around! My vets always told me that pet insurance never covers anything, but trust me, Healthy Paws is not like any other insurance. Thanks to them, my dog was given a fighting chance.

Amazing!

Healthy paws made it possible for me to afford IVDD surgery for my 2 year old dachshund. They have been so helpful and caring! Thank you so much.

Highly Recommend

My baby Duke was a gift from my deceased cousin. When I started looking for pet insurance, the options were overwhelming. I stumbled across an instagramer with several Frenchie's who have health issues and they highly recommended Healthy Paws. Duke has a lot of the typical French bulldog characteristics, from IVDD to IBD so it's safe to say we have a lot of vet bills. Is Healthy Paws pricer than competitors, yes. But what Healthy Paws offers that its competitors do not are fast pay outs and reliability. You get what you pay for, and I can rest assure that we are in good hands whenever Duke goes to the vet. Thanks to Healthy Paws I have one less thing to worry about and that is priceless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - you get what you pay for and Healthy Paws is 5 Stars!

Thankful for Healthy Paws

Our dog Ruby just turned 11 years old this past month. For most of her life she has been very healthy and we only had one or two small claims up thru 2022. Over the past calendar year, however, she has required two echocardiograms, a sonogram, a splenectomy (which turns out to be a pretty major surgical procedure) and a significant amount of condition related lab and blood work. Healthy Paws stood behind their policy 100% with us and covered over 10K of costs. The claims were processed quickly (funds in my account within a few business days of submitting) and correspondence was handled courteously and clearly. Naturally it helps to have a responsive and efficient veterinarian on your team to expedite things. Yes, this is not low cost insurance coverage, and our monthly rates have gone up significantly over the course of Ruby's life as she has aged. But the last year has convinced me that Healthy Paws coverage has been worth every penny. It has enabled us to provide our little girl with the care she needed and given us the peace of mind that we will be able to continue to do the best we can for her (hopefully many) remaining years.
