Hartville | Pet Insurance Review

I registered for Hartville right as we got our new puppy - and it was the best decision I've made as a pet owner. Our pup had the unfortunate luck of having an entropian eyelid - which required several vet visits, medication and surgery. Because we had purchased a policy early in ownding him, all of these were covered - which was a huge relief. We've found the plan to be really comprehensive - from our puppies eye surgery, to puppy-related accidents like upset stomach, dog bites from rough play, and hurt paws. Vet care for typical accidents is still very expensive, so we were so relieved we could rely on Hartville. Filing claims were really easy as well, and I was always reimbursed within 2 - 3 weeks.

They have all different types of insurances to buy for your pet. I had a claim and they were very easy to work with. I submitted my claim 3/13 and was finished/received everything by 4/23. Excellent service Thank you

My 3 year old Rottweiler had TPLO surgery back in February. After all was said and done she is recovering nicely. Hartville Pet Insurance was there for me and processed my claim quickly. I have the plan that pays 90% and was very glad that I had it. Being retired and on a fairly fixed income it took me awhile to save up the money for the surgery. Claims are handled promptly. The amount that they allow for different procedures are fair. The company cares about the health of your pet.

The electronic filing was good but, I have to admit that the first attempt did not take and it was not evident to me why it didn't work. I'm colorblind and often find on many sites that I don't see the red text to change or the subtle tint change of a block. I need a bunch of asterisks to help things jump out.
