Sign up was easy

I can’t speak for how the insurance has worked since we signed up only a few days ago. However, their sign-up process and subsequent follow-up from Jenn was super easy. I’d made a small error on our application as a result of requesting quotes from 3 providers (and a lack of sleep because of our new puppy) but Jenn found and quickly corrected it - saving us $6 in the process! Hopefully that pleasant experience is an indication of what a claim might be like down the road, should anything happen to our little pup.

Monthly Cost

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age, gender, and postal code, with premiums averaging $55/month.  

Coverage

Comprehensive accident & illness coverage with up to 80% reimbursement. Use any licensed vet in Canada or the U.S. All plans include coverage for exam fees & taxes, 24/7 telehealth powered by Vetsdirect Limited, and over $3000 in additional pet owner support benefits annually.

Payout Limits

Up to $20,000 in coverage annually.

Deductible

As low as $100 annually

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 7 weeks and under 14 years old to enroll. Once enrolled, coverage will continue for as long as the pet remains enrolled.

Waiting Period

For Accidents – 48 Hours For Illnesses – 14 Days For Cruciate Ligament Conditions – 180 Days
