I have had pet insurance for several years.(Different pets..Different companies.) When I adopted my last dog, I shopped around. The two companies I have used are both well known. One of these companies,..if my dog did not have conditions she came down with while insured with them, I would tell them to stick it. They pay on a schedule..which is ridiculous at times; The worst is their customer service.The ones I have dealt with never has learned the meaning of compassion and has been rude. Always at the worst time too.
The other company I have coverage with is a excellent company. Great customer serve, pays claims fast and fair. Also easy to file a claim. The reason I was looking at other companies were they were going to be more each moth than I had budgeted to pay. So I had to try and find cheaper insurance I could afford, but still as good. In my search I found Figo on the web.
The cloud based idea I thought was genius. When I called with questions, the rep was very friendly and helpful. With the perts of the cloud etc, I thought for sure they would be way off my budget. I was excited to find they were cheaper and in my budget, but with all they have to offer, I was still not convinced and just knew there had to be a catch.
That was almost a year ago and to my grateful amazement, I could not be more pleased with Figo. My dog Lexie has had a few minor health issues since then. The last one not minor. She has a cancer. If not for Figo I have no idea what I would do. So thank you Figo and everyone... do yourself and your per a favor and go on a cloud with Figo!
I was referred to Figo Pet Insurance through a Facebook Men's Group for Dog's. Sight unseen I signed up for a plan for peace of mind. Just like all the reviews have stated the company is very pro customer. Any time I have called (which is rare) the level of service is superior. I recently took my beloved dog for a routine dental cleaning. During the course of the process it was revealed that my pup had to have two teeth extracted. I filed a claim not knowing if it was covered. Most of it was covered to my surprise. Even if it was not covered anytime I logged into the APP and sent a text message through the service the friendliest replies were sent informing me of what stage the process was in. I am super impressed with the level of service from FIGO!
Less than 2 weeks after setting up my pet insurance with Figo my puppy sprained his leg! I was able to easily file my claim through my pet portal, which was so user friendly and simple it shocked me, and within 3 weeks my claim had been reviewed and payment reimbursed. I honestly couldn't believe how stress free and simple the entire process was from start to finish. I know I made the perfect choice when choosing Figo!!

EXCELLENT !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
I did considerable research with various pet insurance companies before signing up with Figo only about 3 weeks ago for my new Giant Schnauzer puppy, now 11 weeks old. Figo's customer service representative, Jennifer, was so far above and beyond all others in her expert knowledge of both the policy options, coverage, and also of veterinary practices.....she was just very impressive. I didn't feel like I was speaking to a phone operator who had been trained in a "sales pitch"....but rather someone who is truly expert in her field. The Figo coverage options vs. premiums are better than all other companies I researched. So I signed up with Figo after Jennifer spent considerable time on the phone answering my questions. She is so impressive because she knows what she's talking about, doesn't sugar coat anything with a "smooth sales pitch", but just provides hard fact information in an exceptionally pleasant and accommodating manner. But the true "meat of the matter" of an insurance company and chosen policy.....is their claims process and payment of claims. Well, as luck would have it, (or lack thereof) with this new puppy......some Advil capsules spilled on the floor late in the evening on Labor Day weekend.......and although it was thought that all caps were properly picked up off the floor......a little while later, the puppy was found with an Advil in her mouth......and no telling if she had ingested more than what was found in her mouth or not.......seriously? At midnight on a Fri nite of a holiday weekend? ......off to the ER clinic we went. There was a 5 day waiting period for accidents on the Figo policy. Can't believe my good fortune, that this accident happened 7 days after signing up with Figo. You can be sure that ER clinic visits on a holiday weekend and the additional testing needed were quite a significant expense. Well.....Jennifer was every bit as pleasant, helpful, and expert in helping me with the claims process as she was at policy sign up time. Today, a deposit was made to my account, reimbursing me what I was expecting according to my policy choices. I am very pleased with my choice of Figo, and with all of the interactions I've had with them. Impressive customer service as applies to claims process and reimbursement. I'll be recommending Figo to all of my students and friends. (I'm a dog trainer, and my students number in the hundreds annually). BTW.....puppy has recovered fully, and is bouncing around happily. What a relief to have had insurance that was in effect when facing the late nite ER visit fees.
I signed my dog with Figo simply because I felt because Figo has the most generous and overall
complete package. I really like the Pet Cloud app and how easy and convenient to use. I filed my first claim and took a little over 7 days. Although Figo may be new, Figo offers more and should be considered by every pet parent.
You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.
Age Limits
Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.
Waiting Period
1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)
Exclusions
Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months
Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences
