I am so beyond grateful for Figo. Early this year, I filed my first claim, and it was a big one ($1200+). What seemed like a minor dental issue (a lost tooth) ended up being indicative of significant damage to 8 of my dog's teeth, something that could only be caught during an in-depth dental cleaning and had therefore been missed in regular check ups and by the rescue where I got my pup. Uploading documents to Figo's site was so easy I thought for sure I had done it wrong, and I received my claims check so fast (I don't remember exactly the timeline, but it was not more than two weeks later). Then, a week or so after my claim was closed, I received a card from Figo saying they were thinking of me and my pup and wishing her a speedy recovery.
I am so accustomed to human insurance putting me through the ringer with having standard claims denied and spending hours on the phone to get basic care covered. It's such a relief knowing that my furbabies are in good hands. Surgery is stressful enough, and I really can't express what a relief it was for this part of the process to be so smooth and easy. I spent HOURS researching different pet insurances, but ultimately felt like Figo cover the most for the best prices. I was already please with how quickly and easily they handled my claim, and sending a get well card was a cherry on top. I feel like Figo is a company run by people who have and love pets, and ultimately, that's who I want handling my pets' insurance.

Just wanted to let you know the outstanding service I was given by your employee Jennifer Czech she is always helpful and friendly and goes beyond what is expected . I work at an insurance company and know how hard it can be sometimes . Just wanted to let you know as she truly is an asset to your company.
I have had the insurance for 3 months, and the customer service has been atrocious. Getting insurance coincided with quite a few vet visits. I have filed 3 claims over these months, and the first one took over a month to process. The other two still haven't been processed (it's been almost 2 months since I filed one of them). When I've emailed them, it has often taken 4+ days for them to respond. Over text as well, they have been super slow to respond. And let's not even mention chat, sometimes I click to connect and it takes over 30 minutes for a rep to respond. I hope the coverage will be fine, but so far it's been super frustrating dealing with them.

They are the worst, unethical.
I would give ZERO if I could.. Please please please, listen to the negative reviews. This company is awful, they turn words around, they are rude, they are not forthright on purpose. They quote their cancellation policy constantly and make sure the 30 days to cancel is well past your deadline before you can discover how awful they are. They are keeping $116 of my dollars due to the fact that I cancelled after the 30 days. I HOPE THEY ENJOY THE $. (This is after months of trying to get claims processed) They claim my Vet's office (who by the way has high scoring reviews everywhere) never sent them the info they needed, this after my Vet's office swore the faxed numerous times. NUMEROUS
This is also after numerous RUDE calls. They want to talk over you, they forget you are the client. I can't waste any more energy on this company, a manager finally called me, I'm not bothering to call back, her message noted their cancellation policy, really? Not the fact that I was lied to numerous times, I WAS..
By the way, they miraculously received EVERYTHING from my Vet (I also sent it, not sure what they are talking about) a few days after I cancelled my policy, so now my claims are null & void. Do not use this company, they are spin masters and amazing at it. Please please, believe the bad reviews, and there are many, everywhere.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Find one that treats you with care, not one that has nice telephone music while you hold on for 20 minutes.

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.
Age Limits
Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.
Waiting Period
1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)
Exclusions
Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months
