I Compared Other Pet Insurance Companies - Winner Is FIGO!

As a first-time puppy parent, I researched several top insurance companies before deciding on Figo. You can customize your plan to better suit your pet and pocketbook. Other plans allow you to do the same, but Figo had the most economical monthly premiums, as well as up to 100% reimbursement. Anything that makes our lives easier Is a plus! Their app is great and easy to download and use. Online claims are a breeze! I recommend to all pet parents!

Figo is the best insurance for your pet!!!!

Figo is such amazing protection for your beloved pet! We are so thrilled by the ease of the app, the fact that all of our dog's records are in one place and most importantly, Figo reimburses fairly and with no hassles, even going to far as to keep us appraised of the improvements they are making to ensure that the reimbursements happen in a more timely manner. Super impressive company that we recommend to all of our fellow pet lovers.....wish our medical insurance worked as well as Figo does!

So you are probably thinking that pet insurance is a dime a dozen...

So you are probably thinking that pet insurance is the same no matter who you use. That is not the case with Figo. The PetCloud app is amazing! Being able to manage my dog's life and insurance from one place is amazing. Not to mention the reminders and the ability to find a dog friendly restaurant. My favorite part though is the speed at which claims are handled. I can upload the documents right from the vets office and have my claim paid within a day or two. No more waiting for a check through snail mail or weeks/months for claims to be handled. Super quick and easy, just the way insurance should be! Thanks Figo!

Annual Premium Doubled - No reason!

Signed up for FIGO and had a fairly simple policy. Had no claims, or anything else affecting the insurance for my cat, but they tried to sneak an increase of DOUBLE my annual premium. Dropped! Shop elsewhere folks! Customer service was slow and not personable AT ALL. It took them weeks to get an answer regarding my premium increase. Awful service.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
