Figo is a scam!

Figo seemed like a great deal for my first year but they recently raised my monthly rate from $30,00 a month to $67.00 a month. I did not get ANY notification that they were raising the rate and the only reason I noticed is because I went in my app to check on a claim and was looking at all the options on the app. They told me the raise in rate was due to higher vet fees in the state where I live which I don't understand as my particular veterinarian's fees are not going up. It's a new insurance company and I think they are an absolute scam to rope you in and then charge you higher fees. Happily switching to new company.

Great Service!

When we opened our claim for our little Maisie back in February things were a little slow in getting processed and paid. Over 30 days. I was s little skeptical about claims. Once the claim was approved by Figo, any re occurring bills sent into them regarding this claim was paid within hours of submittance! Great job Figo! We are very pleased with the service and being prompt with payments!

Super user friendly

Super user friendly. Almost instant response time and reimbursement is in the mail within a week. Pet insurance has never been easier. I am extremely happy I went with Figo.

I purchased Figo Pet Insurance on (3)…

I purchased Figo Pet Insurance on (3) of cats less than a year ago. In May of this year, my 1 year old male cat had a urinary blockage and ended up needing (2) surgeries with in (1) month. Figo Pet Insurance paid my claims very quickly and their customer support team responded quickly to questions I had. I would highly recommend them to someone condering getting pet insurance.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
