Dont believe the good reviews. I have spoken to no less than 4 other people that had Figo and had nothing but trouble.
It seems they like to deny every claim and make you fight to get paid hopping you give up.
I finally had to take them to small claims court and won.
My 3 year old dog, Toby, had a very minor skin issue at the beginning of this year. The experience made me think about getting pet insurance. I shopped every company and FIGO offered the best value and their website was user-friendly. Who would have thought that less than 2 months into my policy, I would have to make a significant claim for a major, unexpected surgery for Toby. This was unrelated to a skin issue as that would have been considered a pre-existing condition, but thank God I had FIGO! Without FIGO, Toby would not have had the best care. The claims process was fair (they asked for a medical history). After review, the process was quick to receive payment. Also, the staff, Alex, in particular, was super caring and helpful throughout the claims process. I would recommend FIGO to a friend or family member. No question! The sooner you get FIGO, the better, especially if your pet is young. It's a must have!

FIGO is amazing. The turn around in processing claims is excellent. My cat has had a number of health issues this year and Figo has covered them. I have one agent in particular who has gone above and beyond my expectations. I tell everyone that I know, who has a pet, about FIGO. I never had pet insurance before and I will never be without it again.
You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.
Age Limits
Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.
Waiting Period
1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)
Exclusions
Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months
Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences
