Figo | Pet Insurance Review

Figo Pet Insurance is by far the best insurance out there. My pet Lucy is very special to me and I don't know what I would have done without Figo. Lucy has been very demanding this past year with having bilateral TPLO surgery and Figo has been nothing but outstanding. Thank you for everything you have done for Lucy and I and thank you for having the most amazing customer service.

I can't think of an easier insurance to deal with. I visit the vet, take a photo of the invoice, upload it to Figo's website and am quickly reimbursed directly to my checking account. Sometimes, a claim is processed in under an hour! And they have never challenged any vet fee or treatment. Great company.

Honestly, I have become some sort of pet insurance evangelist after my recent experience. Prior to adopting my two cats (as kittens) in 2017, I did my research on pet insurance and went with Figo. I enrolled them the day I brought them home. Fast forward to September 2018 and my boy cat suddenly had a urethra obstruction which could only be resolved with surgery. It was very stressful and completely unexpected. I made many calls, emails, and texts to Figo during this time. There was a system glitch that had made it look like my policy was not up to date. Everyone I interacted with was kind, understanding and helpful. Figo has absolutely been worth every penny paid in premium. I don’t know what I would have done without it. Submitting claims is a breeze with the mobile app.

Figo is my first experience with pet insurance and they have been great. I opted for the ultimate/100% reimbursement plan so I could proceed with our vet's recommendations without thinking about my wallet. In hindsight this was an excellent decision as we've had a few incidents in the past year that would have been painful otherwise. The peace of mind is well worth the expense. Figo has processed all of our claims quickly. Most recently they paid our $2k claim the day after I submitted it! At most I've had to submit additional/missing paperwork. They haven't ever hassled me regarding any claim or course of treatment. Similarly, I've called customer service a number of times and a human answers on the first ring. I've also emailed them with questions. They've been helpful every time, I'm quite impressed.
