Made me feel like my family didn’t matter
Worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company, and that includes auto insurance which is saying something. Paid my premiums for a year, COVID-19 pandemic hit and I get notification that my premiums are increasing by over $6/mo and my benefits are being decreased substantially. Annual benefit decreased by $4k most notably. Went back and forth with customer service who didn’t listen to what I was saying and just regurgitated prepared statements. Then, proceeded to blame their underwriters. When that failed they blamed my state, and told me to reach out to state policy makers because it was their fault. When the rest of the country is looking out for each other and lending a helping hand to their neighbors Figo raised premiums, slashed benefits and blamed everyone but themselves. Please think about that before you give your business to a company charged with helping your family through difficult times.
