They’re the only pet insurance company to offer up to 100% reimbursement, so big vet bills won’t break the bank. Figo customers have exclusive access to the Figo Pet Cloud app, including features like a 24/7 Virtual Vet and easy mobile claim filing. No pet insurance company covers pre-existing conditions, but Figo is the only one who will help you identify those conditions at the start of your policy. If you don’t think you’ll get value out of pet insurance after your initial review, just cancel within 30 days of signing up to get your money back.

Stay away from this insurer

Terrible. They cover very little and while -filing- a claim is easy, it is after you file the claim that the nightmare begins. For EVERY claim they want the medical documentation from the beginning of time. Are they not capable of keeping records so I dont have to hunt down the vet for duplicate paperwork every time??? I NEVER had to do this with my previous insurance, file a claim and done. With Figo it is file a claim, keep providing a ton of paperwork every time only to be denied payment. Their actual coverage sucks

I was having trouble submitting a claim, my first claim with FiGO. I got a young lady who helped me not only submit the claim but stayed on the phone through the entire process. It was a great experience

Very easy to enroll, prices very convenient and so easy to file a claim. All over the application. I got the money back from the claim in less than 18 hours.

DO NOT USE FIGO PET INSURANCE

DO NOT USE FIGO PET INSURANCE. They have so many exclusions they basically pay for nothing. Do your research and choose a company that will actually reimburse you for common issues with your pet. I purchased for accidents and unexpected injuries and illnesses. Out of $4,500 in bills, they paid ZERO. Have tried to contact for clarification but have not been able to get anyone on the phone. I spent hours downloading and collecting all the information they requested. There are better companies out there. Do your research and don't waste your money.

We are new pet owners and new to the pet world. We did our research on Figo and decided to go with them as our little fur babies pet insurance. We recently just went to the vet to get some shots and we used the chat with agent to figure out how to file the claim. It was fast and easy!

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
