I was shorted reimbursement on a recent…

Edit: A couple days after this review was posted, the situation was resolved and the money was sent to me. I have added more stars to reflect this. Original review: I was shorted reimbursement on a recent claim. I did chat with customer service who confirmed that I should’ve been paid more, and I have the screenshots as proof. He then told me he would forward it on to an adjuster to fix and told me to wait 30 more days for it to be fixed. It has been over 30 days and I have not seen that money nor have I gotten any correspondence from customer service. That is theft, no matter the amount.

Scam avoid this rip off.

You cannot email Fetch. The live chat does not function when you get an agent. They have multiple phone numbers but you cannot get results. They took over my previous pet insurance without proper notification. They have a multi page policy that allows then to reject all claims. Trying to cancel is ridiculously difficult.

Rejected valid claim after paying for a year

Paid for insurance for a year, tried to file a claim when our cat broke his paw, which was an extremely lengthy process and then was denied because they deemed our initial vet examination was not valid because it was done at the humane society, and therefore did not have to pay out for his bills. The whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth, why pay for insurance if you cant use it. We are dropping them and looking for a new provider.

Patience

The insurance company was very patient with me as I worked my way around an iPhone to get them a lot of the information they needed to review the claims. This is one more business that has been greatly impacted since Covid along with the vets they service. Hopefully next time will be easier

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
