Now that they have changed from Pet…

Now that they have changed from Pet Plan it is so bad, and the website doesn't work for you to track what they get and what they pay. For one dog alone they raised my one dog $1,700.00 US dollars. I pay over $4,000.00 before they even start paying for one pet alone. I have been with them for years as Pet Plan, but now I regret staying with them. I just wrote all the details in a letter to the BBB. It entailed how I have been told different things by different employees and at the end of the day, it benefits their pocketbooks. I have submitted claims and they said they got them then they say they didn't, and you have no way to check when they do not show or give you access to all the documents on their end. It's bad very unethical behavior. You can also lookup how to file a complaint against an insurance company. They have government agencies that govern even Pet Insurance Companies They need transparency and accountability. Everyone notice the reply below. For the record I have reached out and nothing happened so now I will be changing my review to one star, not two. Update: I have done what they posted below. Here is today's correspondence: Hi Colleen, I am so sorry about the late response! I do see that you spoke to Dan yesterday, but if there is anything you need, please let us know. We would be happy to help. I hope you have a wonderful week! Best, Kaitlyn Dear Kaitlyn, I spoke with Dan yesterday 02/08/22, and we agreed to have a phone call today 02/09/22 from 1 pm to 2:30 pm California time. I raced home making sure at 1 pm that I was in front of my computer, and had paperwork in front of me with no distractions. It is now 2:40 pm California time on 02/09/22, and Dan has not called. Situations like today prove my point on the competency level of the service you offer. I would like a note put in Dan’s personal file on this issue. Affordable Pet Insurance

I cannot thank Iona for making this purchase any easier. She was a wealth of knowledge. She explained everything clearly & didn’t hesitate to further elaborate if it seemed I wasn’t completely understanding. The price for PetPlan/Fetch is great for our 7 year old rescue, Howard. We chose not to insure our 13 yr old Shih-Tzu/Poodle, Betty due to the UNDERSTANDABLY high cost. We’ll just put money in savings for her eventual deteriorating health. We’re having our head to tail vet visit within the week of signing up to insure a smooth transition. I also like that they have different levels of dollar coverage, but don’t exclude any illness. They pay for homeopathic & acupuncture, too.

Great experience overall

Great experience overall. All of my claims have been processed quickly. I've had both of my dogs insured for over nine years with what is now Fetch insurance.

First timer

Great experience so far while I signed up over the phone with Janelle Sorensen. She was super helpful and educated me on pet insurance as this is my first time ever signing up. Went through pricing and explained all my options and explained which would benefit me and my companion the most. Gave examples to help me understand how things work, was very professional and compared to other insurance quotes I found fetch to be the most for the money.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
