Fetch | Pet Insurance Review

I thought Fetch (originally PetPlan) was the best value after comparing with other pet insurance companies. The cost per month for the deductible & coverage amount I chose was a better price than anyone else I had looked into. Last month my beloved Sal was having trouble and needed an MRI. If I didn't have the insurance, I would've had to choose between his life or not going broke. My claims were all approved with no trouble, and in a timely manner. I'm very thankful for my Fetch insurance! I can't recommend it enough.

Amazing experience!! Ilona is very knowledgeable and friendly. I know she had my family's best interest in mind when she helped us. I am so glad I called the phone # instead of signing up on line.

I did a lot of research for pet insurance! One aspect I considered was customer service. Not that the others were poor, but Janelle answered the phone and really helped cinch the decision for me! Is she great at sales? Yes. Is Fetch a good company? The Dodo says so! Seriously though, Fetch has some unique features that I appreciate. My cat is young, and while I expect prices to go up over the years, I didn’t want to start at $50/month, and with Fetch, I won’t. Fetch gives me a great amount of confidence that should we come upon an unfortunate event, Nugget will be ok, as will my bank account. And if we don’t need to use Fetch, then the premiums added up to a year’s worth of peace of mind. #worthit

After 7 years of being a paying customer of Fetch, this year my dog needed dog needed a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (knee joint and patellar ligament). This is the first major claim we have ever filed while paying premiums. We filed our claim and all went well for reimbursement for the surgery. I noticed my March billing was double from the previous year. I thought this was an error. I called for clarification. I was informed that was not a mistake that was my new rate for the new policy year, double the cost. The customer service rep asked me if I would like to discuss less coverage for less money. This company knowing my dog is older and has a predisposed condition( it sometimes happens on the other leg) they raise the customer rate doubled. This is a predatory practice especially since they do real splashy ads for what they pay out for the clients. These are advertisements to lure you in to become a client. This is not client/animal advocacy. I would not recommend this company, hidden pricing practices.

Fetch Pet, previously Pet Plan has been great. Their representatives are super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They have been extraordinarily helpful and truly care about the pets they cover (and have, of course)!! I did a lot of research before choosing them to cover our puppy, and I know that I made a great choice. I could not recommend them highly enough!! 🐕‍🦺🐶🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐶🐕‍🦺😃😃 Steve
