Price jacking / blackmail
Fetch insurance is at it again. This time instead of trying to wiggle out of playing valid claims or running me through unnecessary hoops like getting RX for syringes, they simply just upped the premium >50% just like that, without any reason or context. Calling them, they claimed it's because "factors have changed", but refused to provide any detailed reasons as to what factors have changed. The only thing that changes is that the cat actually needed treatment, and they actually had to pay. Of course now I have a pet with "preexisting condition", which THEY KNOW, so they allow themselves to blackmail for 50% more this year (and who knows how much next?). In short: Fetch will insure your pet, as long as they don't get sick. Then they will just roll the costs over to you, because that's how they roll. I wouldn't trust Fetch long-term to not continue acting in bad faith and in the best interest of their bottom line rather than their customers and their pets.
Update after Fetch response: I did try to contact your support, and your representative were unable or unwilling to provide detailed reasoning behind a 50% increase in premium. To your point- I have been paying A VERY expensive premium for many years, on the expectation that if my got sick, it would have been worth it. I did not expect my insurance company to underhandedly try and extort me for 50% premium increase when my pet needed treatment. The way you do business is not customer-friendly, and everyone considering your insurance should know how you conduct yourself.
