Great Claim Coverage

Last year was very tough for our cat. He needed surgery and required many additional vet visits for a disease he developed. The prices for all his needs were well beyond breaking the bank, but because we had Fetch, we thankfully never had to worry about that. So grateful we had this for our buddy. Also their customer service is great, and they were clear at communicating when I need guidance on claim submission and such.

The WORST possible pet insurance

Absolutely terrible customer service, if you can call it that. There is no number whatsoever to contact them. They make you chat to them while you wait for them to approve your claim. I waited over an hour and a half today at my vet for them to actually go through my claim, only for them to demand I pay them a second $100 excess for an existing condition that I had already seen the vet for, when it states on their website this would clearly not be the case. Completely useless insurance, run away, don’t walk. Oh, and did I mention how pricey the actual monthly payments are? You’d think you’d get good service for paying a premium, but it’s actually the opposite. I’d give them minus 10000 stars if I could.

Extremely Satisfied

I have always received quick turnaround for my claims and I find they have better coverage for all of my pets needs. I find the value is very affordable and they cover a wide range of things, that have come in very helpful with my puppy as he aged and started having medical concerns.

My dog had cataract surgery and Fetch…

My dog had cataract surgery and Fetch insurance paid the claim. But, The next year , 2024, they raised my deductible from $250 to $500 and lowered my reimbursement rate to 70%. This was done because my pet had to have cataract surgery. I was penalized because of his eye condition. They informed me by a email that I was stuck in this new rate. I’m in the process of looking for another pet insurance. Definitely I don’t recommend this company. FETCH PET INSURANCE. I’m sorry I can’t give them a lower rating than 1 Star, they deserve NO STARS. Thanks

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
