Unprofessional and scammy experience

I submitted a claim for a vet visit when my dog stopped eating completely and had vomiting and diarrhea. The claim was denied because it was a “pre existing condition”, citing a phone call I made to a vet the previous year in which I discussed strategies for some minor diarrhea with their front desk staff and they advised probiotics. I got letters from my vet stating it was a phone call and affirming there is no evidence this was a pre-existing condition. I sent it to the appropriate people via email as advised by telephone, and I have had no response. Completely unprofessional and comes off as scammy - what is the point of coverage if you are going to use completely unjustified reasons to reject reasonable expenses? Do not recommend. Edit: After posting this review Fetch reached out to me and resolved the issue. I am very grateful but wish it didn't take public shaming to get them to act :)

Initial frustration but overall a very good experience.

There was an initial frustration with sending my dog’s records to Fetch. They repeatedly denied getting records and sent duplicate requests. Once they confirmed receipt of all records, the claim process became very easy. My dog had TPLO and physical therapy. Fetch reimbursed accordingly and quickly.

The Fetch Pet Insurance is an easy way…

The Fetch Pet Insurance is an easy way to rob people in need that loves their pets the customer service line is terrible you can't get through with a live person.I have Fetch for 2 years now and the first time I submitted a claim because it was an emergency my claim was denied. I sent the all documents they were required and their answer was a nonsence response for the denial. It would be nice to know before I spend thousands of dollars that FETCH TRULY DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING AND THEY JUST STEAL YOUR MONEY. Respose to you Fetch 9/5/23 If I would known before I spend thousands of dollars I do not have on paying FETCH that it would not cover anything,I would never waisted my money. I regret with all my heart not putting my money on a savings account in case of an emergency like this one, my dog injured his right leg and his previous problem was on his left leg. Fetch do not said anything until you file the claim. When I first started I called and I ask very specific questions to the agent and never was stated to me that it does not cover the other leg.
