I feel scammed by this company

I feel scammed by this company, I submitted the clinical documents for my dogs care (2 yo small dog mixed) and they would not honor the claim because a prior vet did not use SOAP notes. Note the claim was for an infected tooth 2500 removal no prior claim history.

I had never had to file a claim for my dog Winston and I called for help in doing so today. Emi Bradley was the one that helped me and I have to say she was WONDERFUL. She walked me through every step I needed to do (even how to save everything to a file), I am sure it was frustrating for her to have to stop and give me time to do all the things, but, she did and I am very thankful for her help. I hope everyone is as helpful as she is. She is a great asset to your company.

Scam insurance

Similar to multiple reviews on here, all my claims got rejected because they consider diarrhea as a pre-existing condition. This is not written in their agreement which specify “any illness, injury, or behavioral condition” not mentioned in prior checkup are excluded in coverage. I appealed and asked them to prove that diarrhea is an illness in my case but they keep making up reasons that i’m missing documents and paused my appeals. My pup has been very healthy per my vet’s notes but it’s very common in young puppies to have diarrhea, especially those that have an active lifestyle. My husband had some discount from his work to join Fetch and now we really regret our decision. We wouldnt mind paying more premium for a piece of mind. I wonder why Fetch insurance is still in business when their communications show a lack of medical knowledge and a misrepresenation of their legal document.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
