Fetch | Pet Insurance Review

Recently, as my dog has aged, there have been some issues that have required medical care. Having this insurance has made it very easy to say yes to testing that is needed and can be very expensive. This past September he had a sprain that made him miserable. I had to go.to vet ER. He needed imaging, radiology, labs and everything in the crock pot, lol. We were discharged and had a follow up with his regular vet a few days later per ER instructions. I filed one claim on a Monday and it was paid by the Friday. And the follow up visit was paid in 9 days!!! I was impressed. My vet wanted to know the name of the company as all the ones they offer have had negative feedback. I gladly provided Fetch's information as they got to see the EOB for ER payment and how quickly it was resolved. I've had my dog covered for 10 years now, it does get more expensive as he ages, but the peace of mind in making care decisions for him knowing Fetch will reimburse covered care quickly, is absolutely worth it!!!!

They don't pay claims! Don't waste your money. Spot pays. I had the mandatory wellness exam done and the vet recommended a dental. They are refusing to pay for it saying that it's pre existing. I also have the wellness plan that pays 100 toward the dental and they are just ignoring my inquiry on that and keep referring to my dog by a different name. See if your vet offers a wellness plan and get that. They are also charging me the same amount for my puppy as my 6 yr old. Doesn't make sense.

Heather was cheerful and eager to help the moment she answered my call. I had a lot of questions about pet insurance and how it works, and Heather was patient, thorough and enthusiastic as she helped me answer them. She also was not 'pushy' when I told her I wanted to cancel for now and rejoin when my dog is a little bit older. She was mindful about educating me of possible reasons I would want to keep my insurance but also very validating in my concerns so far. People like Heather making calling into customer service lines enjoyable. Thank you, Heather for caring about your work and people!!

I've had a very small claim under review for a while so I decided to call in to see what was actually holding it up. Kelsey not only clarified what was missing, but also called the vet hospital to get the document necessary to clear the claim. That was something I was expecting to do myself, but she sure made it easy for me.
