It took a whole year and a half before…

It took a whole year and a half before I was able to get any reimbursement from PetPlan. Thanks to Adam Altman who took his time to review my appeal and resubmitted for me. He himself could not see why it had been denied since I had all of my documents there. Other representatives could not help me at all. Thank you Adam Altman for your help. This took place back in March 25, 2021 and I talked to Adam on September 1st 2022.

No need to look any further. This is the one!

I am so impressed with this company. My pet had medical issues that required hospitalization at an emergency pet hospital. After everything was taken care of, I submitted my receipts to Fetch. I had a check within a week of the claim being accepted. There was no hassle or questions. It was the easiest process I have ever been through. I would highly recommend this company. I will definitely be staying with Fetch for as long as I have my fur babies.

Emergency hospital

My Brodie was hospitalized in emergency hospital for 3 days. $3,500. I wouldn’t have had the extra money to pay for his care. Thank you Fetch. I was able to pay and then be reimbursed. Super easy. It all on line within 10 days I had my claim completed. No hassle. Best thing I could have done was buy the insurance when he was a baby

I submitted docs for the first time and I found it very easy and the communication excellent. I even added some old claims in my submission and those were covered too.

Find someone else, they are the WORST.

Fetch doesn’t care about you or your animal. I’m sure all insurance companies aren’t great but we’ve had this one since the day we adopted Loki. He was a 7 month old rescue and they have said literally everything is a pre- -existing condition and even though we pay every month they pay for nothing and it's been 2 years now. Our most recent claim was denied. It was for 2k and they said it was due to him having lupus - he had lumps all over his under belly and so the vet wanted to do a biopsy - it turned out it was a bunch of ingrown hairs due to him going into remission and all his hair growing back (really something to celebrate). They also found out that the problem plaguing him wasn't lupus (though that's what he has) but it was an infection that had caused the lesions we'd been fighting to begin with. But none of that mattered because their only goal is to take your money and not pay anything out ever. They aren’t humane. They don’t call you back. They don’t work with you. It’s just a money grubbing company and the worst part is on the other end of all this is a poor, helpless dog who just needed some love and attention. If you’re going to be an insurance company for animals have a freaking heart We'd go somewhere else but as he has a pre-existing condition (for real now, not when we was fine at 7 months old when we adopted him and go the insurance the same minute) and so it will be just as bad if not more expensive. We are however looking into options. Fetch responded to this but they only responded here. They never contacted me personally. They haven't said what I could do to help besides "have our vet send more paperwork" - not WHAT paperwork. And all his vets have sent a ton of paper. When we adopted Loki he just had a cyst on his toe and hair missing from his tail which we were told was due to stress / his previous life. This response below is just aligned with all the previous BS they have spouted.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
