Fetch | Pet Insurance Review

Submitting a claim is a timely and frustrating experience. When I called the customer service phone number, it wouldn’t connect me with a human, kept hanging up on me, and no one ever answered. I tried chatting within the Fetch app, but the customer service rep. was unhelpful and did not answer my question- she just kept repeating herself. It's obvious she was not reading my responses. An hour and a half later (after multiple tries at their Customer Service phone number & other chats) I still do not have an answer in order to submit a claim. Fetch requires that the consumer uploads the medical records, but it's illegal for a resident in my state to do so- yet Fetch requires it! No one will help! The vet. requires that Fetch send a request for medical records form, and Fetch refuses!!!! I've just wasted hundreds and hundreds of dollars!

I have never had a problem with my claims. They are thorough when explaining the requirements and processed both of my big claims in a very timely fashion.

I highly recommend this pet insurance company! My pet had both legs injured a year apart with a tore acl and when I submitted the claims I received my reimbursement within 10 days. It takes a lot of stress off of you when you do insure your pets as they are just like kids/family.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DENY YOU BASED SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL THEY SAY ITS PART OF THEIR POLICY. IT'S THEIR POLICY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET - STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!

When our 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier presented with acute abdominal pain, we were referred to the emergency veterinarian clinic where he was diagnosed with a mass on his right kidney. He received lifesaving surgery to remove his kidney and spent several days recovering in the hospital. We were very grateful that our Fetch pet insurance paid a portion of that treatment in a timely manner. The employees we spoke with were friendly and professional and helped ease a difficult and stressful time.
