Very disappointed with the service

Very disappointed with the service. I was with Fetch over 3 years and never submitted a claim. I have three animals with them paying over 2k annually for their premiums. In three years I’ve ONLY received $150 in total. My dogs had to get an extraction on their teeth and Fetch denied their claims as my dogs don’t go to the vet annually as its stated in some small fine print. My dogs are healthy and I wasn’t aware that they still need to get annual checkups. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

This review is for GERRONE NEWSOME only. He is professional and the only person who has been able to help me with my questions. I have had insurance for my 4 dogs since 2014 when it was still with go pet plan. Since it became Fetch, it has been really hard to get hold of someone. But today, I did manage to get hold of Gerrone and he helped with with all my questions. This man is professional, calm, helpful and restored my faith in this company. He deserves a HUGE raise.

Please avoid this company

I provided all the documents for my claims and they keep making excuse of missing docs to delay the processing. They even contacted the Vet office without my consent to access my pet health record. I thought it’s illegal in California to access pets’ health record without owners’ consent!

3x the cost for the same coverage as my existing provider

We were informed during our company benefits seminars that Fetch would fully cover dental exams, only for us to find out upon application that it's an additional add-on to the already costly monthly estimate for two senior cats. On top of that we were also informed our monthly premiums would be cheaper compared to our current insurance provider, only for me to find that for the same coverage as our current provider Fetch would be 3x the cost. Some research revealed Fetch used to be PetPlan, and PetPlan doesn't exactly have stellar reviews either; this is already a sussy start and I haven't even signed up yet.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
