I’ve been with fetch for 4 years, with only one small claim for an accident. Fetch has consistently increased their premiums and this year they increased it by more than 50% from $79/month to nearly $130/month for my health 4 year old dog. They tried to justify their increase (inflation, my dogs age, dog breed, etc) but I found more than one provider with dramatically lower rates, leaving me no choice but to cancel my insurance and go with a competitor. It’s embarrassing that they think this is acceptable, and at this rate by next year I’d be paying more than $200/month. Get out before my dog actually needs insurance. You’re an embarrassment to pet insurance and it’s disgusting that you think it’s acceptable to rob people, not everyone can leave. For anyone else in my situation whose dogs don’t have medical conditions PetsPlusUs has never increased my premiums for my other dog and Furkin offers the same coverage for a much lower price.

After months of frustration about our claims not being processed, we decided to cancel and switch to a different insurance. Of course we had to call and went through the long conversation. Surprisingly, the lady was very understanding and said she understood all the details now and that all my claims should be processed soon once she passed on her notes to the team. So we changed our mind and decided to stick with Fetch and even rated the rep a high rating after the call. Weeks later, my claims status still say missing documents and seems like no information has been corrected or updated after our phone conversation, like it never happened! Not sure what the company’s goals are. They probably train their staff to avoid claim payments as much as possible and forget about building reputation to keep customers.
