Unreasonable price hikes

I am disappointed by fetch because they raised the rates for my two dogs by 50%, despite the fact that they have never had a single claim from us. Also, they make it extremely difficult to cancel or remove payment methods.

I RECOMMEND FETCH For a long time and lots of phone calls…

For a long time and lots of phone calls I was finally able to upload my invoice and vet notes through the app without an issue. There was some technological problem for some of us. Fetch, formally Petplan, took a year to fix it. I was still able to email my information during that time. The Fetch employees are always courteous and helpful. It takes about 2 weeks to get reimbursed but I like the 90% back after the $250 deductible. Now that everything is running smoothly, I would be confident in recommending Fetch.

Ginger

Hi, my name is Alex Fetch is the worst company ever insured my Animal with my six month old cat named Ginger passed away. Six months before that I took out insurance for my cat four months later I took my cat to the doctor and they told me she was have leukemia so they did whole bunch of tests. After that three weeks later she passed away I called insurance company I told them they told me they need all the documents which is I did, after that, they denied me and the reason why they denied me is because they told me I never took my cat to the vet before I told them before my cat was not sick so I think they found any reason not to pay back the bill that’s why that insurance company is the worst one I will never forget what you did to me on I read what the insurance company wrote back to me does not make no sense. You took my money for six months, then even once asked me to take her to the doctor and get her checked out or we gonna cancel your insurance know nobody said anything to me. It’s not about the money you guys have me going to the doctor faxing papers doing this we need this we need that for almost one month maybe more and in the end when I told you guys to cancel the policy, the Ginger passed away that’s when you asked me we need the report from the doctor before she gets sick. How come you’re not asked me that the first time. anyway, thank you very much to meet you guys the worst company I don’t know about everybody else.

Website is user-friendly

Website is user-friendly. I am kept notified every step of the claim submission approval process. Claims are processed/approved in a timely manner. Thank You

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
