So far, the experience has been great. They have covered what I expected them too in accordance to our policy. Claims are reviewed in a reasonable amount of time. Our first claim took a lot of time because they needed a lot of initial docs but since then, it has been as easy as submitting an invoice and medical notes. I'm not sure how if I saved all that much money in the first year but I know I will be glad I have it if/when my puppy ever has a major medical issue. He had a minor emergency recently and it would have been so much more stressful if I had to also worry about the money associated with an emergency vet visit.
This is the first time I have ever purchased pet insurance. I, of course, did not think I would need to use it, but it was recommended to me by the shelter where we adopted our kitten, so I decided to go ahead and purchase it. Unfortunately, I have had many unexpected expenses for the kitten because of a myriad of issues. Fortunately, I got pet insurance, and have been reimbursed by Fetch for these expenses. For the first claim, it took a few tries to make sure I had all of the paperwork and to get it processed, but after that it was super easy!
