I NEVER recommended Fetch to anyone!!!!!!
I opened a claim for reimbursement of a hospital emergency for my dog that was vomiting and with bloody stools, and it was denied claiming that it is pre-existing conditions because it had a previous diarrhea less than 1 year ago. But an emergency occurred, not a precondition. My dog does not have any illnesses, as seen on its record, it had diarrhea and vomiting.
When a human goes to the hospital with diarrhea and vomiting isn't it an emergency? Why is it diferent for a dog?
Sadly when one gets pet insurance you hope it’s for minor illness or broken bones etc. I got this for my pet DBCooper and am soooo thankful. He has lymphoma and dealing with fetch submitting claims and getting reimbursed into my account has been a terrific experience. I can devote my time to loving and spending what time we have instead of total stress over the costs. I wish I had gotten the unlimited package but who knew what would transpire.
Fetch - Notice how they Calculate Claims with a Deductible
Fetch reimbursed my Cat's emergency pancreatitis claims with no issues at all - very quickly actually. First time that I ever had to file a claim. The only peeve I have is the claim calculation when you still need to meet the deductible. I discovered it is calculated by taking the total amount of the claim, multiplied by your co-pay deduction first (say 10%), then the deducible amount is deducted after rather than vice versa. This means that you actually pay more, and they pay less - this is kind of sneaky in my opinion. All in all, this insurance has been great for my pet.
Superior and seamless Customer Service interaction with Joelle
We've had pet insurance policies for our 2 cats for only a few months, but due to unforseen financial circumstances have had to cancel the policies, today. (For now, only.)
I just finished my phone conversation with one of their customer service agents, Joelle, who came across as being very sweet, kind, competent, and compassionate.
Not ever having to contact them before, I had no idea what to expect though the thought that they might try a 'hard-sales approach' to keep me from canceling did cross my mind.
I'm so very happily relieved, and appreciative, that this was not the case. Joelle handled the issue competently and quickly.
Because of my seamless and effortless interaction with Joelle, I will most definitely have both policies reinstated as soon as finances allow.
