Dental denial
Fetch (then Pet Plan) insurance purchased 2018. Vet report submitted and accepted said MILD tartar on canines. No further treatment required by vet.
Paid ever increasing monthly amounts over the years (latest increase took the monthly bill to 165 per month) for 90% coverage on $2000 annual claim)
Teeth removed in 2023 due to periodontal disease.
Claim (for $1,200 after co pay) denied because they claimed she had pre existing condition.
There was no pre existing diagnosis, or treatment plan. Please beware of this company. This review is less about the moderatly small amount of the claim, more the concern that they would not have the intregity to stand by their word in the event of a big claim that could be the difference between life and death.
