Straightforward, no-hassle processing
After many years of being a pet owner, I decided to open an insurance policy for the 2 baby street dogs I adopted 4 years ago. I have forgotten the name of the company I originally signed up with, but they merged or rebranded as Fetch a while back.
I never made a claim until recently, when one of the pups injured his neck when both my spouse and I had been unemployed for months. That's when I downloaded the app, uploaded his records, and submitted a claim for the emergency vet visit.
I didn't have to talk on the phone to anyone, I didn't have to plead my case, just uploaded receipts, and they approved the reimbursement within a week.
Since then, our pup has seen a neurologist, gotten the right treatment, and has recovered. Sure, he might injure himself again, or this might turn into a chronic condition, but we aren't afraid of the future, and that is priceless. We didn't have to go into debt over it, or compromise on his care and comfort because of our financial situation, and that is exactly what insurance should do.
