Fetch | Pet Insurance Review

I just signed up so I don't have any experience yet with how this works, but so far so good. I choose this company based on a recommendation from a friend and fellow dog lover!

My rep, Josh Sabado, was awesome and really helpful. Friendly and was quick to find answers to my questions, as well as finish setting up my quote and sending to my email!

If there were minus zero stars for Fetch Pet Insurance I would have chosen that. Long story short: they refused to give pre-approval for teeth cleaning for my 4 year old dog. I had NEVER made a claim in her life until now. While vets have noted that there was minimal tartar on her teeth in the past, NONE of our vets EVER recommended cleaning until this year. Fetch Pet refused, calling the condition "pre-existing" even though my vet wrote a note saying that teeth cleaning was NEVER necessary in the past. I cancelled Fetch Pet as a result and have gone back to Trupanion, which covered my first two dogs. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but they PAY your claims. And you only pay one deductible per life on any ongoing condition. So, when my Labradoodle had to take 18 pills a day for seizures - for 12 years -- we paid only one deductible and Trupanion paid 90% of the cost every month. Buyer beware. Do not do business with this horrible company. See their ridiculous response below. This was NOT a pre-existing condition.

After reviewing a few pet insurance companies I finally found one that catered to all that I was looking for at a reasonable price. Josh, the assistant on the phone, was very courteous and answered all my questions :)

Takes time to process claim. They took 11 days to notify me they wanted some documents which added the time to wait for the claim. I'm still open to change my review in the future.
