Excellent agent

Just signed up today for my new puppy. Alan was my insurance agent. He was so knowledgeable and explained everything to me, he's one of the reason I chose to go with your insurace.

Robbery

We have been with petplan for 6 years with our relatively healthy cav. We've submitted 3 claims in that time for minor issues. In the 6 years out policy has increased by 1500$/ yr They have no explanation for this except it should increase yearly. The payout for our claims total is about 400$. Truly unacceptable

Terrible customer service

when i chatted with Danielle on 2/2/2023 i request for a follow up to be sure my personal card info that was used for refunds and payments be removed from the profile. she never followed up. Customer service is vague and useless. i am concerned about fraud or this company gets hacked i should have the right to removed my card information. this is just one example of multiple requests i have done with this company by phone or chat. each reach rep says it will take 7 days and i will get a follow up and they never follow up. your company does not need my card information anymore and i should have the right to have it removed. i can only suggest whoever reads this that they know how difficult it is to get anyone to follow up with a simple request. i will never do business with this company again

Dental denial

Fetch (then Pet Plan) insurance purchased 2018. Vet report submitted and accepted said MILD tartar on canines. No further treatment required by vet. Paid ever increasing monthly amounts over the years (latest increase took the monthly bill to 165 per month) for 90% coverage on $2000 annual claim) Teeth removed in 2023 due to periodontal disease. Claim (for $1,200 after co pay) denied because they claimed she had pre existing condition. There was no pre existing diagnosis, or treatment plan. Please beware of this company. This review is less about the moderatly small amount of the claim, more the concern that they would not have the intregity to stand by their word in the event of a big claim that could be the difference between life and death.

YOU ARE SCAM!

I wish I could give you a -100, you guys are absolute SCAM, you charge people monthly n cover NOTHING! You try your best to decline every and each claim, and relate them to wellness, pre condition and any other imaginary reason just not to pay a peny, it doesn’t matter if the client and their vet give you hundreds of reasons why this is not a pre existing or wellness related issue, you will put all your effort not to pay, cause that’s the way you make money! I paid for almost two years and every time I claimed, you rejected after making me chase you for months! This business “ Petplan or Fetchpet“ is FRAUD and needs to be reported and closed down!

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
