It Depends on the Representative
My 11 year old little girl kitty Abbie, was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism in Dec 2022. Her prognosis was very good but the treatment cost was not cheap. Having Pet Plan (now Fetch) made the decision easier. Her treatment (I 131) took 4 months to be scheduled. It was done on 4/3/2023. She is doing very well now. I did not understand at the time that there is a 90 day window to submit claims. I waited till after Abbie's treatment, then submitted all the invoices at once. My claims were all denied for being over 90 days. I then called in on 4/20/2023 for an explanation. The representative I spoke with was not very helpful. She told me she would look into the situation and call me back shortly. After waiting 4 hrs I called back. This time I spoke with Tattianna Smith. Tattianna reviewed my claim and understood exactly what was happening. She explained my mistakes and stayed on the line while I refiled. She then confirmed that my claim was now filed correctly. I was good to go. So much so, that 24 hrs later, I received an email from Fetch that my claim was approved and the payment is on its way. I can not commend Tattianna enough. She is a very knowledgeable and wonderful representative for Fetch. Thank you.
