Expensive for limited coverage

Expensive for limited coverage. I had a $737 emergency with my dog, of which my Care Plan with the Animal Hospital (that I pay for) covered $30 - and a net additional cost of $707. Fetch paid $265.59 after 80% coverage and a $300 deductible, and wouldn't cover my dog'g's pre-paid coverage. At $53/month for 39 months old, that's over $2,000 in premiums paid.

Questions never answered 🙊 and never will be answered

I appreciate the speedy response . That is why I gave you an extra star.At least I am not ignored like I have been in the past when I attempted to contact Fetch through email (eight times I emailed asking about possibility of being downgraded in 2023). Never a response back. However; you have not answered any of my questions. Fetch is very good in deflecting their responses. So I will enumerate them . 1. Why was I told December 11th that my policies were all good by an agent and that they would be renewed with no changes? That is why I did not decrease policies myself 2. Why was I told by Lindsay customer advocate that it wouldn't have made a difference if I downgraded myself Mischi's policy would have still been downgraded. 3. Why do pet parents have to guess if they are submitting too many claims over the years and run a risk of being downgraded? 4. Why is the formula for downgrading a secret? 5. I have spoken to several companies and Fetch is the only company,so far that downgrades. Why is that? 6. Never met the annual maximum yet my two policies were downgraded without notice and explanation why is that? 7. Why in the letter that was downgrading it says to call and explore options and yet there are no options! Why is that not written in the letter with an explanation of why the policy was changed? 8. Why was an autonation's Parts supply number provided to discuss my options which means choices? That's enough questions for now. Thanks for answering the auto-nations number question. I tried several times the night I received the email and I continued to get an AutoNation' s service dept. I reported this to fetch the next day I'm glad they fixed it. As for speaking to agents yes I have spoken to 3 on the phone and have emailed infofetch and customer advocate email for emailed quotes and questions about having two pet insurance policies. Are you counting ? I I'm disappointed that you could not answer any of my questions but I really didn't expect you too but I was hoping you would.

New Fetch client

I have been a Fetch client for about 3 months. The Wellness program is a no brainer as it pays for itself. I was reimbursed for $185 out of $330 for Yeti's annual exam, and I haven't even bought heartworm meds yet, which will also be covered. The claim was processed very quickly. My 2nd claim was processed within a few weeks, but applies towards my deductible. So far I am very happy with Fetch.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
