Company has gone downhill
I’ve been with Fetch -Petplan for over a decade but for some reason just recently they changed the way they handle claims. My dog has been very sick and I’ve had to take her to the vet a couple times a week. Fetch has a convoluted way of handling claims. One of my claims was broken down into 5 separate claims and when I did the math to see how much I should be reimbursed it was way off from what I was actually paid. I spoke to a supervisor and they also noticed mistakes so they sent it back to claims. I had to wait 4 weeks for it to be reimbursed and it still seems wrong. I called customer support and they also said it’s not clearly explained how they came up with a random number to reimburse me so she downloaded documentation on her end and emailed it to me. Now I have to download and print out all of the documentation that is not listed in my account online and try to figure out how much I should be reimbursed. It’s been a total nightmare and not what I really wanted to have been dealing with while caring for a sick elderly dog in the middle of a pandemic.
