Slow reimbursed. Very slow review

I submitted a claim on 10/21 and here it is, 11/3, and it’s still in review. Nothing big. Just a wellness exam, shots, etc. the doctor gave me cream for my dogs skin irritation. Nothing else. It takes a long time to get reimbursed.

Why did I wait so long?!

I've always had dogs (and cats!) and I've never had pet insurance. Big mistake: pet insurance is REALLY helpful, and I couldn't be happier with Embrace.

Embrace is TOO EXPENSIVE

Had Embrace for 3yrs now and never really had a problem until now. The first year I had Embrace for my Frenchie Bruno, I was paying around $100/monthly and then the 2nd year it got increased to $130. Now that I have been on for 3yrs about to renew, I got an email explaining how my monthly premium is increasing to $198/monthly!? So I called Embrace to see why am I being kicked in the face like this, considering I have Allstate insurance for my house and auto as well (Embrace is Allstate partner and why I originally got them) and I was told that the reason the premium is increasing is because the age of my dog and because of the vet that I go to (my vet is considered expensive??) like wtf? My dog is 3 years old and they are considering him a high health risk?? When I have never had any health problem yet with my Frenchie which is absurd.. the coverage I had from Embrace was 80% coverage // $10k max benefits // $500 deductible and they wanted me to pay $200 monthly after my renewal for the 3rd year after only paying $100-$130 for the first couple years of the same coverage —— I was so upset that I found another dog insurance with the EXACT SAME COVERAGE but this insurance company is giving me 90% coverage instead, at only $98 a month.. PEACE OUT Embrace! ( my response to Embrace: I understand insurance premiums go up over time.. I’m 37yrs old and have had numerous insurance policies and NEVER have I had a premium jump like that which is literally 100% increase in just 2yrs?!? — you guys are charging me what I’m paying for my actual children, just for 1 dog that’s only 3yrs old who is literally in his prime stage of life.. $200 monthly for one 3yr old dog is ABSURD!! So in other words, dealing with companies like this one, the loop hole would be to switch up insurances every 3-4yrs to reset the premiums (if dog is completely healthy with no past history) because there’s no way I found another company in 1hr, giving me better benefits for 50% less than what you guys are trying to take from me.. this company is taking advantage of people during bad economical times right now and it’s a shame..)
