Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I was very pleased with the initial communication with the Embrace staff and after Ellie's first accident.It seems that prescription coverage is an additional cost even if there is an emergency. My dog doesn't require daily prescription drugs however she was bitten by another dog which required stitches and an antibiotic for wound care at the cost of 537.00. The cost for the drug for this claim was not covered. I am still very unhappy about that incident. I have also been comparing other companies and their policies before I renew with Embrace for the following year. Not sure I would recommend Embrace to other pet owners.

I used to use a different company for pet insurance - on that was well known and reputable. I didn't renew that insurance because it felt like I gave them an awful lot of money for nothing. Very little from my annual wellness visit was reimbursable, and failing an emergency, it felt like throwing money away. I did some more research and found Embrace. I was hesitant at first because in signing up, some of the paperwork made me wonder if I was basically giving my premium to a company that would leave me in the lurch. Well, there was absolutely no need to worry! I just took Kira to the vet. She got vaccinated and checked out, and I bought some Advantage. The entire bill was $295. I expected that I might see $80 - $100 back, so imagine my surprise when Embrace emailed me to let me know I was being reimbursed $200! That covered everything except the Advantage. The check arrived within the week. I was so impressed, I've been telling everyone, even my non-pet owning friends and family. Thank you, Embrace!

I have been a customer of Embrace Pet Insurance since 2009 and I waited 2 full policy terms in order to write this review. So, I can say my review is based on 2 full years worth of service and not written in haste or without due experience. Of all the insurance benefits available to pets, Embrace has exceeded all expectations in providing the best benefits,claims and customer service. The staff is very congenial and polite in their email responses. They always take an extra step in ensuring the customer gets a thorough and detailed explanation for any rejection of a claim. They are very diligent in researching everything on your behalf. I would recommed Embrace to everyone who wants the best and most comprehensive insurance coverage for their pets. I have never seen a company so quick in responding to claims and there are truly no hassles. They cover almost everything including the waste products that vets charge us for! Truly the best insurance in US for Pets! I am going to renew my coverage with them for the third consecutive policy year. I can rest in peace as I have embrace to take care of my pet's medical needs. This is my first experience with pet health insurance. I researched the choices carefully (I do research for a living!) and decided on Embrace for a number of reasons, but one of the key reasons was that they did not have a schedule of how much they would reimburse for specific procedures. I wanted to be able to choose the vet providing care for my dog on the basis of skill and reputation, not cost. I was hoping that I would never need to use this insurance, but this year I feel extremely fortunate that I made the investment. My dog was diagnosed with bloat, and condition that can be fatal within a couple of hours. It required three visits to the vet, including one to an ER at 1 a.m. My dealings with the Embrace claims people have been wonderful. They are prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and caring. Within less than a week of submitting three claims electronically, they informed me that (subject to co-pays and deductibles) everything was covered. I have another appointment with my vet, and I have peace of mind knowing that I won’t have concerns about cost in the back of my mind as we discuss my dog’s health.

It gets repeated alot in the reviews, and there must be a reason why. Great customer service, excellent coverage, decent premiums, great pay outs, timely service. I've used others, and they can't even come close to Embrace. Thank you Embrace for your wonderful service, and for caring about our pets as much as we do!
