Major Medical & Personal Service

I spent every night for a week comparing pet insurance policies looking for one that offered major medical coverage for injuries & illnesses. I had no need for the "frills" so many companies offered like routine care, money for lost dog posters, etc. I just wanted coverage in case, God forbid, one of our 3 dogs ever had a severe injury or illness. Embrace is THAT company!!! I was impressed with the premium to cover 3 dogs ages 1, 7, & 8 AND that they allow the usual & customary fee for services based upon geographical region, not some arbitrary low allowance for various issues. During my comparison shopping, I recall one plan allowing only $500 for a broken leg. When was the last time THEY had veterinary care for a pet??? I also like the fact that you can choose your maximum per year, 3 different ANNUAL deductibles, & 3 different co-pay percentages. It really allows a family to choose the plan that best fits their budget & needs. We haven't had to file a claim yet so I cannot comment regarding that area, but if the personal service & quick email replies I've had to date are any indication of what to expect in the future, I'm sold!!!

Easy, friendly and competitive price

I checked a lot of pet insurances, and honestly Embrace is the most resonable one with a great coverage. What I like is that they cover therapy in case of an accident, really few of them do that. Most of them are really expensive. Embrace was at least $10 less than other insurances. I asked a quote and got a fast answer. Sent them an email and got an email back within the hour. The lady I communicated with was really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recomand them to any pet owners I know.

did not cover something that I thought should be

My dog was dx with entropian. But several months later he was dx with a different eye probelm and the insurance would not pay. When I received the email about not paying, they didn't mention the dog by name and there were numerous mis-speelings. Makes me wonder how careful they are with details when they can't even spell.

Great company

It happens that I made a large claim a few months after I started a policy with Embrace. There were no problems at all. It's a great company!

Great Communication

I just filed my first claim, and it was incredibly easy. I was almost shocked when I found out that you CAN actually get a REAL PERSON on the phone. They even answer e-mails usually in the same day. Their communication is excellent. I think I pay maybe $5 to $10 more per month then I would at one of the other companies. To me it's worth it not to be trapped in voicemail hell, or have to talk an automated system.
