Not happy but not giving up yet!
I followed the directions on the claim form but was constantly getting emails asking for more information. Zach is a rescue dog and I provided everything I had. After some time passed I called and explained everything. It turned out Embrace needed the vet notes for the orthopedic exam the was done last July. If they had mentioned that when I applied and was approved, I would have supplied it. It took numerous phone calls and emails to straighten this out. I was stunned at how fast they let me know I wasn't covered for something I submitted yet it has taken 4 months to let me know about the eye problem. If this had been a terrible illness, the stress of dealing with embrace would not have been worth it. My policy expires in July - I will be doing more research before renewing it. I am hoping this was a one off!
