Excellent Customer Service

I expect good customer service from a company and I have found that with Embrace,in fact I would rate it excellent. They are always available to answer questions about my insurance and they have processed my claims in a reasonable time frame.Can we transfer this customer service to my health insurance plan..!!

Great Plans, customer service, etc.

I had shopped for many insurances before signing up with Embrace with my new puppy. I liked the fact that they have a wellness plan which I had signed up for. The reimbursement process is so easy. I recommend this plan to every pet owner out there----customer service is great, discounts for spay/neuter and microchipping is a big plus, you can choose your deductible, and the different plans that you want to participate is each plan year! I recommend it to every pet owner.

I had a rough start but an excellent ending

I bought Embrace insurance because of the reviews from their customers. The feedback is postive about the insurance, the coverage and customer service. I felt really confident when I purchased the insurance, I found security that my dog would be okay no matter how small or large amount of medical care he needed. Unfortunately I neeeded a large amount of care within the first 5 months after my dog got ran over by a car. Leaving out tons a detail, my claim was first denied than approved. After a little go around, I felt the Embrace Rep. really did care about my dog receiving care. I spoke to several customer care and all where pretty polite even when I was falling apart crying on the phone about my dog's accident. Once the claim was approved I was relieved that my dog could be saved because I could afford to give him the medical care he needed. Without Embrace insurance, I would have no other choice but to put my dog down. Therefore I am thankful for the customer care rep. who worked with me through this hard time. Every since this accident happened, I tell everyone when I am in the vet( alot since the accident) about Embrace, even though the vet pushes another insurance. When I talk to other pet owners I ask them if they have pet insurance, and stress the importance of having them and how Embrace is an idea insurance. When giving my overall rating I would love to give a 10 but I have to be honest, the original denial of the claim was beyond stressful. Therefore I will have t

Always kept informed

I appreciate the "Claims Embracers" emails and always being kept informed during the processing of the claim. I am very happy about that and very comfortable with the turn-around time of claims submitted.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
