Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I researched multiple pet insurance companies online, and by far Embrace offered the most comprehensive coverage for my cat and dog at a reasonable rate. The staff was friendly and helpful when I needed guidance in getting all of my information in order. Embrance offers a reimbursement option for either a check by mail, or via direct deposit. Embrace issues their reimbursement checks promptly. I am happy with my puppy's "Dogbama" health care coverage, as well as my feline's "Obamacat" coverage. My little Maltipoo was staying at my brother's home while my family went out for Christmas Eve dinner. Unfortunately, my brother's roommate was not thinking and left the door open while he packed up his car. My little girl escaped and was hit by a car. She broke both pelvis bones and had to have surgery or she wouldn't be able to walk again. We went through with the surgery, however, I was nervous that Embrace would not cover the charges because I was a new customer (only 2 months!) and I hadn't gotten the orthopedic examination yet. However, I filled out my claim forms and I was reimbursed for nearly 80% of the charges!!! What a Christmas miracle! Embrace continues to reimbursed me for her follow-up appointments (including x-rays) and overall has been a real blessing. I am so happy that I decided to look into dog insurance, as you never know what can happen! My parents were also so impressed that they are looking to sign up their dog for Embrace Pet Insurance. Highly Recommended! I am only rating them a 9/10 because the initial sign up was a little cumbersome. My dog was a rescue so getting all of her medical history was a little challenging, but overall worth it!!

I have two dogs insureded with Embrace. I had previously tried VPI and another insurance a few years ago (can't remember the others name) but I was very discouraged at the schedules and fine print for the premiums. Embrace is simple, and fairly priced. They have paid my wellness claims every year for the past three year, 100%, no questions asked and much faster than any insurance I have ever experienced. They even cut you a decent discount by taking the wellness add-on by paying back more than the wellness premium (a bonus for those that take good care of their pets. This partially offset the medical insurance premium. I am very pleased.

Anytime we have had a claim, and there have been quite a few since our Greyhound is a rescue dog with alot of issues. When she would go to the Vet. and a bill was submitted to Embrace, it was paid within two weeks. We are very happy we chose Embrace. Also, all the people who answer the phones are A+.

I am new to pet insurance world. I did not have pet insurance for my previous dog and am trying it out for my new puppy. So far it has been extremely easy and rewarding.Claims are addressed in a timely manner and the refund check arrives promptly. I have only dealt with wellness coverage thus far - no accident or illness. So far my experience with Embrace has been a positive one.
