Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I enrolled my dog in Embrace Insurnace 6 months ago. Fortunately I did not need it until 3 weeks ago. She ate 14 pieces of sugarless gum containing the toxin Xylitol. She was treated successfully and the claim was processed immediately. I was pleased with the fast and fair handling of my claim. I would recommend Embrace to others.

I recently switched to Embrace from VPI this summer. I sent a claim through, hoping that it would be handled better than my prior service with VPI. With VPI, I felt like I was looking through paperwork to see how everything was covered under the insurance. Embrace itemizes everything for you, and shows you what is, and what is not covered. The medicine, doctor re-check exams, and hospitalization was ALL covered. I will definitely say that EMbrace is the poilcy that I know I can trust.THANKS EMBRACE!

Just went through the precertification process for my dog's upcoming bilateral patellar subluxation surgery and I must say that it has been a pleasant and simple process. The people I have been coresponding with have been friendly, kind, compassionate and prompt. If the entire process works out the same I will be truly impressed. As a physician accustomed to dealing with people insurance I can say they could learn alot from the way Embrace deals with their clients. So far would recommend them without reservation!!

We have only had Embrace insurance for 5 months and we CANNOT be happier with our purchase. It has been the best investment my husband and I have made. THere are no "catches," no reasons they find for not approving when the policy seems to state it should, and the turn around time is quick on claims (especially after your first one). Also.. we picked this insurance because, after MUCH homework, we found they are one of the ONLY insurances to cover "genetic diseases" such as dysplasia. For other companies that do cover this diseases, almost all of them will only cover "one side" of the body. A dog is almost never dysplastic on just one hip, or one elbow. And sure enough... our only 14 month old high-spirited and extremely handsome yellow lab has elbow dysplasia. He is having surgery in just a few days, on both elbows at a cost of $3,000. After a horrible experience with VPI, I signed up with Embrace after seeing all the positive reviews on this site. After 3 months my pet had to be hospitalized for seizures. I was a little nervous since I had just signed my dog up for coverage, but the Embrace team was wonderful and so caring. They kept in constant communication with me and processed my claim within the 15 days promised. Even after the check was received they emailed me to follow up on how my dog was doing. Great company and should be the blueprint for other insurance companies.
