Excellent Service! Very happy with Embrace!

I have not had pet insurance before as the costs and coverage didn't seem to be a good deal, then I learned about Embrace. I read the benefits and requested a quote and now I am a customer. I signed up my young healthy Oriental Shorthair and three months later he had an abscess rupture and we found ourselves in the ER. Embrace processed our claim quickly and the benefit explanation was clear. Fast turnaround on claim processing. Vet highly recommends Embrace and so do I! Customer service is great and from quote to sign up to payment was simple. Simple language, no complications. Thank you Embrace!

Eastern Medicine to an Older Dog's Rescue

Thanks to Embrace I have a new weapon in the tool-kit to help my 12 year old husky-mix enjoy his elder years. Morgan has had a bad back for a few years now and despite our efforts to find a reason — MRI, spinal tap, etc. — he occasionally needs total bed rest for a "bad back". Not being able to enjoy his long hikes with his Daddy anymore brought us to try something new, acupuncture. Thank goodness embrace covers it because it is expensive. He has had two treatments so far and we can already see he gets relief from his pain and may even improve. Thanks Embrace!!!! Cristina aka Morgan's Momma

Better than nothing

Embrace seems to be oblivious to the fact that dogs that swim sometimes develop ear problems that have nothing to do with allergies, and making that category of ear issues a preexisting condition for unrelated skin issues makes no logical sense whatsoever. They also don't seem to understand the difference between notes and a diagnosis. Let me state up front that I have no problem with the "preexisting conditions" clause, as long as it's truly a preexisting condition. What I am referring to here is the Embrace taking a very long stretch to tie things together that are not true preexisting conditions, and then using that as an reason to not pay claims. In May 2013 my vet noted a mild irritation in my flatcoated retriever's ears. He never received any diagnosis or treatment, and I corrected it by cleaning his ears. No problem. In April 2014 my dog developed an infection on one leg and an irritated place of unknown origin on another foot, which we treated. When I submitted the claim Embrace first rejected it because of the note about an ear irritation in 2013, which had nothing at all to do with what was going on this past April. The vet had to write several letters to Embrace that were very clear that the ear irritation in 2013 and the infection and irritation on the foot were unrelated, and Embrance eventually paid off on the infection but not on the unknown irritation. Now Embrace has "reset the calendar" on ANY skin or ear problems. Anything that hap

Very relieved to have Embrace insurance.

I recently had to take my one year old dog to a pet hospital due to illness and the bill was over $1700 for an overnight stay, tests, meds and doctor fees. Embrace reviewed the claim and emailed me to inform me that they were going to reimburse 80% of the bill within a week of the claim submission. I am very happy and relieved to know that we don't have to carry the burden of wondering if we can afford to get the best care for our dog!

Outstanding Prompt Claim Service!!

I just took out the pet insurance last Thursday and took my Yorkie to the vet the next day to get spayed and her dental done. I faxed the claim yesterday and Alli from claims has emailed me today to say that my check was on its way. I also have another Yorkie with another insurance company and they weren't nearly as efficient as this company.
