Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

This is my first illness claim with Embrace since I have started my policy. The customer service was great. Anytime, I had any questions, the person I spoke to would courteously answer all of them. Also, they did a great job of keeping me informed on the status of my claim through e-mail. Once the claim was processed, everything was explained clearly.

This review is about our claim for a blockage of the intestine in our 8 month old Cavalier puppy. Bella swallowed a stone and it lodged in her intestine. Our Vet did tests and took xrays. They operated the same day and we moved her to a 24/7 Emergency Hospital where they observed her for 36 hours. After our annual remaining deductable of $47.90 the total balance was $1223.76. Out of pocket cost $122.38. We are extremely pleased with Embrace Pet Insurance. Their response is quick and the direct deposit of reimbursement payment is very convenient. In January we added Lily to the Embrace family. Hope we don't have this much excitement with her, but if we do, I know we're in good hands with Embrace.

Our Boxer, Jackson, was exhibiting a lot of symptoms of Bloat and progressively getting worse as the evening went on. At 11:30PM we rushed him to an emergency clinic - we could not go through the night not knowing if that was what he had (as they can die quickly from the condition). Luckily, the clinic was able to rule out the stomach being enlarged via x-ray and subdue the vomiting. We were sent out with a drugged dog, and a $600 bill just 2 hours later. I submitted the claim to Embrace ASAP, and it was paid within a few weeks. This has been our biggest expense with our dog, but Embrace has also processed several other claims for us in the past- very quickly and responsibly. They have great customer service and give very timely responses. I have recommended them to my parents (who have a Great Dane), as well as numerous friends. It's so worth having... even if just for peace of mind.

I recently subscribed to Embrace Pet Insurance back in August of 2010, and here it is only 5 months and my puppy Coco Chanel (the cutest puggle)found a medication bottle; chewed it up with its content. I had no idea where she found it, or how many of the pills she ate. I had to rush her to the emergency vet hospital and they had to provide several procedures to ensure that all the medication was out of her system. I went home downloaded the medical claim form and took it back to the vet hospital. The gals there were very helpful in filling out the form and faxing it to Embrace. I got home and decided to check my e-mail. To my surprise I had already received an e-mail confirmation of my claim. It has been five days, and in my e-mail again today, was another e-mail explaining my claim reimbursements and a note staing that my check was on the way. I could not be happier with this first time expperience. Thank you Embrace. If you are having difficultly in choosing a health insurance company for your animals, I highly recommend Embrace. I currently have three dogs covered with Embrace and thankfully none have met their deductible, at this point,for accident or illness. We treat them holistically as much as possible and it has helped to have their blood work covered through the wellness plan. Customer service is wonderfully responsive!
