Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

The last time I purchased a dog was 11 years ago and pet insurance was not widely known. My family recently purchased a Great Dane puppy and did extensive research in pet insurance and the benefits. Having a family member who has put out over $10,000 in cash for a puppy he got 6 months before us made up our mind. The unfortunate accident that my nephew incountered with his puppy was a deciding factor in us purchasing pet insurance. We did our research and found that Embrace was the best option for us. I wanted a plan that would cover not only accidents but wellness care as well. We are new members of Embrace and have been very pleased with their service. Thank God I've only had to submit wellness claims so far and have been very pleased with their quick response and reimbursment. If you are looking into pet insurance I would highly recommend Embrace for your pet.

My dog broke her tooth. I looked at my policy which said advance permission was needed for any dental issues. So, I called Embrace, and they said to take go ahead and take her to the vet. The vet recommended a cap on the tooth since it was a canine and dangerous to extract. I submitted the claim to Embrace, who came back to me 3 or 4 times asking for more paperwork. Then refused to pay.

Although I could not be fully reimbursed for my claim (since it was a pre-existing condition), I greatly appreciate the time and effor Embrace put into reviewing it. I was updated frequently and reimbursed part of my Wellness credit.

My dog was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumor (insulinoma) which had potentially spread to her liver. It was a relief to be able to agree to surgery without having to stress over the cost. The surgery went great and my pooch is acting about 3 years younger thanks to all the diseased tissue being removed. Embrace reps contacted me as soon as they received my claim forms to inform me of the timeline and process. They then emailed me when my claim had been resolved with an extremely clear explanation of how the amount was determined. If only my insurance was so easy to deal with and understand.

I thought about a cat that was with us years ago that had become ill. I thought about how the illness's complexity and potential cost affected my decision-making and was sad to think that my present little companion Gracie did not have the same level of medical attention my friends and family have. Therefore, after seeing your advertising I began to think what my new little friend deserved, the same protections that other loved ones have. Not a single day has gone by where I am not thankful for Embrace. For whatever reason my little friend has had a few challenges and embrace has made those days less stressful and her quality of life better by providing the affordability and ability to receive proper medical attention.
