Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I've been an Embrace customer for the last several years and have been very pleased with their insurance options and customer service. Claims have always been paid promptly. For about $30 a month, I get excellent coverage. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering pet insurance for their companion animal(s).

I had been very satisified with Embrace until I received this last group of claims. The process was very slow. First I thought it was attributed to a software conversion. Which is reasonable to take some delay. Now today after requesting the status on outdated claims, which is unlike Embrace, I find out I have a new processor. My pup who has hip hysplasia -- I am told only 1/2 of the treatment will be paid for -- ONE leg -- pretty ridiculous -- why, the other is rehabilitated -- hugh? I am at a pause since this is so unlike Embrace. My pup goes for hydro therapy covered by the policy -- yet -- they will cover 1 leg -- I can't help 2 legs are in the hydro treadmill. Then when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold for a long period of time and no one came back to the phone.

Thankfully we have Embrace Pet Insurance and our pup has hip dysplasia. He has had surgery and extensive rehab. Embrace has been beyond MARVELOUS with covering the care our little guy needs. They pay claims very prompt and the customer service is fabulous. Every person I have encountered at Embrace is geniune and caring. Embrace is Simple the VERY BEST!

I had a male boxer and he was having some health problems, as boxers do. I looked for insurance for him and at the time only VPI was available. It was the WORST experience of my life! How they broke down their payout was impossible to figure out and when I really needed them when he developed a heart problem they would not coverany of it. They decided to change their policy despite the fact that I began my policy before their breed specific exclusions. Sadly, my boxer baby passed away, but we decided to get another one. This time the number of pet insurance companies was huge and I really researched the best company for our new addition. Embrace has been wonderful and beyond helpful. You cannot find better customer service!!! Thankfully our new boxer hasn't ha any health problems yet, but if he does it is great peace of mind having embraces coverage!

I have filed multiple claims with Embrace for my mischievous little dog and overall, it's been a great experience. The claims process is simple and Embrace staff is very responsive. They always send prompt emailed receipt confirmations, status updates, and even simple assurances that a claim is still in process if it's taking slightly longer than usual. Which has only happened once - and even then, everything was settled within one month. To be fair, it's the only pet insurance company I've used, but I haven't considered switching. I would recommend Embrace to anybody interested in pet insurance.
