Open an account just for your pet’s bill.

It’s been 2 months… our Vets office still hadn’t heard from Embrace! I did everything I was required to do. I’d also was about to pay for my 5th payment…so I decided to cancel my insurance. Yesterday, I finally get an email wanting info on my claim…I’m done. No thanks…now I am putting money in an account just for my pets, every month. Open your own accounts! This was a $500 mistake!

My recent monthly payment didn’t go through

My recent monthly payment didn’t process because my account didn’t have sufficient credit to process the total amount and when I called and was able to work out an acceptable payment process in a short time.

I have had Embrace for years

I have had Embrace for years, I thankfully, never really had to use it until this year... When both of my dogs had serious medical conditions arise. Embrace was easy to use, extremely fast in reimbursement. And gave me the comfort of knowing I had one last thing to worry about. I tell everyone I know that has pets to use Embrace, even while I am sitting in the waiting room of the vets office.

I loved them year 1

I loved them year 1, but now I am in year 2 and my rates literally doubled +. I had to reduce coverage to make a semi reasonable payment. I live in Washington were vet expenses are ridiculous so you cannot be without insurance for your pets. I did call to "complain" or more accurately understand. She said you are not penalized for filing claims, rates are determined by inflation, deductible and coverage. So basically I will now be paying even more on the back end since many things are not going to be covered. Excellent customer service and they are pretty easy to use once you figure out how to do it.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
