Scam

Scam. We had an emergency where my dog got bit and only went to the emergency vet once. It was not our local vet, though we submitted all those document too. Weeks after we submitted for the claim and gave them all the documentation from the emergency vet, embrace claimed we were missing documents and could not process the claim. The vet spoke with them and told them it was everything. I emailed all the documents as well… they just wanted to continue to charge me while my claim was “on hold”. I asked for My policy to be canceled which they told me it was but then we got charged again and I had to call multiple times. I’m still waiting to see if they charge me again this month. Customer service is always friendly, but the job never seems to get done. Do not waste your money and protect your pet with an insurance company that will actually follow through.

Embrace Pet insurance is garbage dont…

Embrace Pet insurance is garbage dont waste your time and money! I had a 7 month old GR become Ataxic ( he was walking off balance and losing his footing). I took him to the vet, the ER and the neurologist. We figured out he had a potential Neurological event due to maybe an inner ear infection or an immunological condition. Of course when you have an ear infection or swelling you may feel dizzy and even VOMIT if you feel like the room is spinning. Well 3300$ later and EMBRACE refused to help me pay for his Bills because he has had “vomiting” before. I am a healthcare professional. VOMITING is NOT a DIAGNOSIS, ITS A SYMPTOM. Unless you are born with an abnormality YOU DONT JUST VOMIT FOR NO REASON. HIS REASON WAS THAT HE HAD SOMETHING HE HAS NEVER HAD BEFORE, AN EAR INFECTION. Well they grabbed on to him having “vomiting” to tell me they wont cover absolutely anything. As a healthcare Provider for Humans I find it disgusting you would attach yourself to a SYMPTOM to deny coverage to someone that pays you to be there for them.

GREAT INSURANCE

I have had Embrace insurance for my current dog and my previous dog. They have been outstanding. I know exactly what I get and what I have to pay for and it has been a total piece of mind to have this insurance covering my animals.

It is useless

They look for any reason, even if your pet has visited the emergency room because it was in pain and has no diagnosis, they use that as a basis to avoid paying any bills. And when you make a claim, not only do they not pay, but they raise the monthly payment to almost double for the following year. I do not recommend it, it did not help me at all.
