Outrageous Renewal Increase

I didn't have any claims, and Embrace increased my renewal cost by 27% in a single year. As a result, I cancelled my coverage.

Fur Babies need Love and Care

I just purchased Embrace Insurance/ Wellness for our great Pyrenees puppies, Bodacious and Charcoal. This was my first claim filed, and it seemed so easy! I have talked with agents, and they were very helpful guiding me to the right coverage. I am new, but I would recommend Embrace to all those who have fur babies. I already have spread the word!

Claims handled quickly!

We've had an Embrace policy for awhile and luckily, didn't need to submit any claims until now (3 years in). Our dog came down with pneumonia this weekend which led us to the ER. Embrace covered the agreed upon 90% of costs, but we were most impressed that the claim was handled with 24 hours. We were refunded within 2 days. We appreciated the prompt attention and are glad that we have a policy with Embrace!

You would need to purchase a policy 60 days before the dog is born for hereditary conditions

Despite the company indicating that they cover hereditary conditions they do NOT. I purchased my policy AFTER my puppies initial visit with her vet. I had no knowledge of a condition prior to the purchase of the policy and the vet did not diagnose anything. My puppy was apparently born with Lateral Luxation and because it was noted in her file 11 days before a 60 DAY waiting period coverage for her condition has been denied. Basically your puppy would need a have coverage 60 DAYS before being born for this condition to be covered. Their policy states the waiting period is to avoid fraudulent claims. They are clearly manipulating the system with this waiting period for a new puppy so that they can obtain your premiums and plan to deny any hereditary conditions. For a new pet owner trying to cover their 12 week old animal after purchase/adoption be prepared to experience something you had no control over. Go to SPOT insurance they only have a 14 day waiting period for orthopedic. I 100% regret this decision.

Took quite sometime to.process

Took quite sometime to process claim. Then the reimbursement didn't cover one of the diagnosis of hookworm as it was viewed as preexisting. Yes, there was a case of it in June when we rescued our dog but this new case is three months later. I am questioning the value of the premium paid versus value of coverage.
