Couldn't be more satisfied

I'd like to express my appreciation of and satisfation with the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance plan and the individuals who administer it. I have two dogs that have benefited from this insurance; they both have had instances where extensive testing and/or procedures had to be performed, and this insurance ensured that they were able to receive the care they needed. Furthermore, the claim forms are extremely easy to fill out and submit - and being able to do this on-line ensured that they were immediately received by the insurance group and processed without undue delay. Finally, I was able to to reach actual individuals on the telephone and have questions answered when this was necessary. I couldn't be more satisfied with my insurance, the plan options, and again, the personnel that administer it. I would urge anyone with pets to get ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. Having it has brought peace of mind when we've been faced with some frightening health issues with our pets. Thanks!

outstanding; well worth the premium

one of my cats, Tigger[other is Poo] needed treatment for overactive thyroid. My father found a specialist 165 miles away. Treated with radioactive iodine. My father lent me the money and the insurer paid almost 75% of the bill. I recommend them highly. Better than the co. that pay based on a fee schedule

Pet Insurance, A Necessity!

We've had four cats and a dog over the years. One of our cats had a brain tumor and melanoma. The other had left and right ear polyps which negatively effected his gait and quality of life (for a while he was hiding and not eating much). I don't know what we would have done without ASPCA's Pet Insurance. The vet bills were insane. The API reimbursement rates were relatively decent. I'm glad we were able to keep our first cat more comfortable with the treatments he received (thanks to the pet insurance). That meant a lot to us. Our second kitty is doing so much better. He seems so much more lively and happy now. He's definitely like a "new cat." I truly believe that pet insurance is probably the best gift you can give to your pet. In the long run, it will also help you immensely when you are overwhelmed by costly veterinary bills. Pet insurance allows caring for a pet to be much more affordable. It’s as significant as what health coverage means to you.

No

just what one of the previous writers stated happened to me. Long story short, i had a cat that sadfully got cancer and we had sent him for xrays to see where it had manifested (turns out it was spreading). ASPCA would not pay for the xrays because of the ridiculous 180 day clause.I chose them, initially, because of the name and the fact that a portion of the monthly premiums go to homeless animals. Or so they say. After a couple more incidents since the xrays and i have finally decided that i've had enough and have a couple of other pet insurance companies sending me information. i should thank ASPCA, though, because they have shown me what to look out for when it comes to other insurances.

Excellent Insurance

I have submitted numerous claims to the company and they were always quick with processing them and cutting me the check. I also find the deductible to be very low. If I did not have this insurance, I would not be able to care for my 4 rescued cats. I love them dearly but without this insurance, I could never afford them.
