Great Insurance Coverage

I have been with Petshealth for over 3 years. I have two Bichons insured. The insurance has been great and the claims have been paid in a very timely manner. I find the insurance (after review of others) to be priced well, what is covered to be in line with others, and the customer service has been #1 for me. Several times I have rec'd calls to see how my "little one" is doing following a claim.

Tom and Ollie

At one time my wife and I had two guys insured with Petshealth Care Plan Insurance. We lost Thomas about two years ago, but Oliver is still insured. Ollie doesn't seem to have the problems that Tom did, but as a soon-to-be nine-year-old standard poodle, he has his share of maladies, the current one being an extremely sensitive stomach. As an insurance agent (property and casualty), I appreciate good claims service. While we purchased pet insurance primarily as catastrophe coverage (Tom needed $4,500 worth of surgery once), we have availed ourselves of the coverage offered by Ollie's plan. We're not always in the black, which is okay, but we always receive claims payments in a timely manner, adjusted fairly and accurately. This year, Ollie's claims have more than offset the premiums we have paid. If you care about your pets, as we do, having pet insurance is a surefire way of making sure you can always afford to do the right thing.

Pet insurance is a must.

California is an expensive place to own a pet. When you do rescue as I do, vet costs can become prohibitive. I currently have 2 dogs and 6 cats. ASPCA and Petshealth has been a life-saver, allowing me to care for multiple pets and not sacrificing care of one pet for another because of costs.

Friendly, caring & helpful people at ASPCA.

I adopted my Luke,a Dachshund mix from the local animal shelter. Luke at the time, was about three or four years old. I wanted to give an older dog a second chance at having a forever home with people who could give him the love and care he deserved. One of the first things I did was to get pet insurance from ASPCA. Several weeks later I noticed a small lump on Luke's front left leg. I brought Luke to the Doctor and it turned out to be a non-cancerous tumor. Luke eventually had to have surgery to have it removed. Thank God he made a full recovery! I was surprised at how much I get reimbursed for the surgery. I highly recommand ASPCA insurance. Besides getting some reimbursement for visits to the Doctor, everyone I have ever spoken to at ASPCA is friendly, caring and helpful.

Peace of Mind health coverage for Pet is Priceless

I have a 3.5 yr old Yorkie, Bailey. When he was 2 he was having bladder problem and was catherized a few time and put on medication. When it got worst he was referred to a Specialist Vet Clinic in Greenville SC. To make a long story short, Bailey had a Liver Shunt and was operated on. Thought I was going to lost him, but he is doing fine now. Except for some skin allergies he seems fine. I submitted all the invoices I had aquired from my home Vet and the one in South Carolina and submitted to ASPCA. Since I was well aware that the issue my dog had was not covered but they went through it and covered all the tests and x-rays before he was diagnosed. He had swallowed some items when he was in pain and started chewing my shoes and anything he could get ahold of. I spent over $4500 on the first claim but it was worth every penny. The second claim was for Ear infection and skin allergy and ran around $400. They were a pleasure to deal with and make sure I understand their decisions according to my policy.
