ASPCA Pet Insurance

Our dog, Cody, had ACL surgery to his rear leg approx 3 months ago. He is no longer in pain and is recovering quite nicely thanks to ASPCA Pet Insurance. For once, we were able make a healthcare decision for our pet based on his medical needs and not based on our wallet! My wife and I are happy and, more importantly, Cody is happy! Thanks ASPCA!

ASPCA (HARTVILLE GROUP, INC.) IS A SCAM!!

My poor cat had an abscess in her mouth that burst through her face. She needed emergency surgery, and had some teeth removed. During her emergency surgery, the Doctor had to remove the abscess material from the other teeth, and clean those teeth in order to inspect them thoroughly, to see if there were any other abscesses in her mouth.Of the many procedures that the ASPCA Petshealtsh Care Insurance (Hartville Group) denied, was the cleaning of her teeth, saying it was a ‘Wellness’ procedure, a dental cleaning, which was an exclusion under the Policy!! This was NOT a Wellness Dental Cleaning, this was a possible live sparing surgery, in which the teeth had to be thoroughly inspected. My poor Li’l Girl later passed soon after, from possible complications from the abscess. This insurance company is as cold-hearted as they come, and I STRONGLY advise all others to stay away from this Pet Insurance, and for Existing Clients to CANCEL their policies. This company is a DISGRACE!!! They interpret procedures, contrary to the reasons they were ordered by the Veterinarian, so that they may be excluded from your claim. DISGUSTING & ABOMINABLE!!!!!

Pleased with service

My cat was diagnosed with a soft tissue injury. I had a few questions about submitting the claim, so I phoned ASPCA Insurance. The representative was very helpful. I filed a claim a week later. I received an email within a week notifying me that my claim had been approved. The check was in my mailbox a week afterwards. I am very satisfied with the service and the speed with which my claim was processed.

The Jury Is Still Out.

Izzie, our 5 year old next month schnoodle has just completed her 1st. year of coverage. She had 3 issues during the year, 2 of which needed emergency treatment. She decided to open a Xmas gift early while home alone, and helped herself to the M & M candy inside. The other issue being attacked by a neighbor's dog, which required 3 staples in her backside. Our insurance coverage came in very handy, and we were happy that we had it. Customer service could not have been nicer, and the claim forms are very simple to fill out. It was handled quickly. I guess we broke even with the money we received from the insurance company, and the money we paid for the coverage. We are not pleased however, that when we were auto-renewed there was a $100.00 increase in our coverage. We will keep it this year, and if there is another big increase that you don't know about until it is already renewed,---Well--- "The Jury Is Still Out".

ASPCA reimbursed the major expenses, after some red tape. all in all, I cannot complain
